I aim to blend historical and contemporary ideas of what photography means to us to create new meaning. I want to talk about us, about what photography represents about us, and what photography represents about photography. It is an evolving technology made in our image, and we are reflected in the material. I work primarily with analog photography, cultural artefacts, historical pictures and image making technology. I wonder a lot about where the medium meets the message.
I was born in San Francisco in 1981. I currently live and work in Copenhagen, Denmark.
